CapCut doesn’t list a student discount anywhere on its own site. Students pay the same as everyone else, which on the web is $19.99 a month or $179.99 a year. The CapCut Pro discount code page shows the sale CapCut is running now, if there is one.

No.
How students can pay less for CapCut Pro
These are the ways CapCut itself offers to get Pro cheaper or free, and none of them need a student ID.

Start with the free trial
New users can try Pro without a card. CapCut doesn’t say how long the trial lasts; its help center calls it “a limited period”. The CapCut Pro free trial guide explains how to start it.
Invite classmates on CapCut for PC
Each friend who installs CapCut for PC for the first time and redeems your invite within 3 days gives you 7 days of Pro. CapCut counts up to 10 friends, so 70 days in total. Each friend can only be invited once, and you can’t invite yourself (CapCut’s help center).
Pay yearly if you’ll keep it
Twelve months at $19.99 is $239.88. The yearly plan is $179.99, so $59.89 less. Prices vary by region and platform, and the US App Store lists a yearly option at $89.99. Before you subscribe on your phone, compare the price with the one on capcut.com while signed in to the same account. All plans are in the CapCut Pro price guide.
Check the pricing page while signed in
CapCut’s pricing page sometimes shows “up to 40% off” on monthly and “up to 30% off” on yearly. What you see depends on the account you’re signed in with.
What doesn’t work
- Redeem code generators and “free Pro” links. CapCut warns against links that promise free premium access.
- Modded or “unlocked” apps. CapCut says they put your account and device at risk.
- Paying with CapCut credits. CapCut says its credits can’t be used to buy Pro plans.
