Artlist doesn’t offer a time-limited free trial that turns into a paid plan. What it calls the free trial is a free account with no time limit and no payment details, which you can keep using for as long as you like (Artlist’s help center).
When you decide to pay, the partner link on our Artlist discount code page adds 2 extra months to any annual plan, so the first term runs 14 months for the price of 12.

The watermarked previews let you browse the music and footage catalog and try tracks against your edit before you buy.
Does the Artlist free trial need a credit card?
No. The free account asks for no payment details, and Artlist only charges you if you pick a plan. Because the free account never converts into a subscription, there’s no deadline to cancel before.
Is there a 7-day or 30-day Artlist trial?

How much is Artlist after the free account?
The cheapest paid plan is Music & SFX Social at $14.99 a month or $119.88 a year. It covers one personal channel per social platform. Music & SFX Pro costs $299 a year and adds client work, paid ads and up to 3 channels per platform. AI plans start at $19.99 a month.
With the 2 extra months, annual plans work out like this:

Monthly billing doesn’t get the extra months. Every plan, including the AI tiers, is in Artlist pricing.
Can you get a refund if Artlist isn’t right for you?
Only within 14 days of a payment, and only if you haven’t downloaded, generated or used anything. A single download rules out the refund, so test tracks with the free account’s watermarked previews before you subscribe. The full policy, including renewals, is in Artlist cancellation and refunds.
Other ways to get Artlist for less
Once you’re a subscriber, Artlist’s Refer a Friend program adds 2 months to both your subscription and your friend’s when they take a yearly plan through your link. It only counts new users without an active subscription, and monthly plans aren’t eligible. Ten referrals earn a lifetime subscription.
On the AI plans, paying yearly costs 40% less than paying monthly. AI Core, for example, is $287.88 a year against $479.88 at $39.99 a month.
